Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of our website, inquiries, and applications.
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Blappe Digital Agency (“Blappe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website at blappe.com(the “Site”) and any inquiries, partnership requests, or career profile applications you submit through it. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who We Are
Blappe is a multi-disciplinary digital agency providing creative, technical development, digital marketing, business support, and specialized staffing services. The Site presents information about our work, services, and open opportunities.
2. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You will not:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form, inquiry, or application.
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or related infrastructure.
- Use automated means to scrape, spam, or abuse our forms or contact channels.
3. Inquiries, Quotes, and Partnerships
Submitting a contact inquiry, quote request, or partnership proposal does not create a binding agreement or guarantee that we will provide services or enter into a partnership. Any engagement will be governed by a separate written agreement between you and Blappe. Quotes and proposals are estimates and may change based on final scope and requirements.
Once a written agreement is in place, it binds both parties. Under the Civil Code of the Philippines, obligations arising from contracts have the force of law between the contracting parties and must be performed in good faith (Articles 1159 and 1305). This applies equally whether a client is based in the Philippines or abroad: a client who commissions and accepts our work is obligated to pay for and honor the agreed terms, and a party that breaches the agreement may be held liable for damages. We recommend that all engagements, local or international, be documented in a written contract or statement of work covering scope, deliverables, fees, payment schedule, and timelines.
4. Protection for Our Team and Service Providers
Blappe engages a team of professionals, specialists, and remote contractors to deliver our services. We are committed to fair treatment and timely payment for the people who do the work, and we expect clients to deal with us and our team in good faith.
Our rights in dealings with clients — including the right to be paid for completed work and to seek remedies for non-payment or breach — are grounded in Philippine contract and civil law, principally the Civil Code of the Philippines, and apply regardless of where a client is located. The Philippine Constitution also affords protection to labor, local and overseas. In addition, the Philippine legislature has been advancing dedicated protections for freelance and gig workers through proposed measures such as the Freelance Workers Protection Act (which, as of the last update to these Terms, has passed the House of Representatives but is not yet enacted into law). Where any such law takes effect, we will comply with its applicable requirements, including those relating to written contracts and security of payment.
5. Career Profiles and Applications
When you create a career profile or apply for a role, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and truthful and that you have the right to share it. Submitting a profile or application does not guarantee an interview, placement, or employment. Career profiles help us match applicants with client projects and open roles; selection decisions are made at our discretion and that of our clients. Some applications are collected through third-party forms (such as Google Forms), which are subject to the third party’s own terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, branding, designs, and software — are owned by or licensed to Blappe and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission. The Blappe name and logo are our trademarks and may not be used without authorization.
7. Content You Submit
You retain ownership of the information and materials you submit through the Site. By submitting them, you grant Blappe a limited right to use, store, and process that content for the purposes of responding to your inquiry, evaluating a partnership, or reviewing your application, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you submit.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to or embed third-party websites and services (such as social media, Google Forms, Google Maps, and analytics providers). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
9. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free or secure at all times.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blappe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blappe and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Philippines.
