3. Legal Bases and the Data Privacy Act
Blappe is based in the Philippines, and our handling of personal information is governed by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC). In line with the Act, we process personal information fairly and lawfully, for specified and legitimate purposes, and we uphold your rights as a data subject.
Where applicable, we process your information based on your consent (which you give by submitting a form), our legitimate interests in operating and growing our business and evaluating applicants, the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into one, and compliance with legal obligations.
A note for international clients and partners:The Data Privacy Act creates obligations for us as the organization processing data in the Philippines. It does not impose compliance duties on you as an overseas client, partner, or visitor. If you are located outside the Philippines, your own country’s data protection laws (such as the EU/UK GDPR) may separately apply to you; this policy describes only how we, as a Philippine-based agency, handle the information you share with us.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above as needed to operate our business, or when required by law.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, to respond to your inquiry, maintain a business relationship, or consider you for current and future roles — and thereafter as required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 7).
6. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

More generally, depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@blappe.com. You can also control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s available tools. If you believe your data privacy rights have been violated, you may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
